Free Gospel Bible Institute is not accredited due to our focus on preparation for ministry and service within the local Church. However, we strive to provide a solid doctrinal foundation and to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to serve within the local Church.
While FGBI is not accredited, we have articulation agreements with several Bible Colleges throughout the United States. Several of our academic units transfer and a FGBI student or graduate can still go on to earn a Bachelor's degree during or after their time here. Please see our Dual Track Program for more information.
Each assignment is created with the intention of preparing the student for future ministry opportunities. You will write research papers in Turabian format (don't worry, we'll show you how!), create presentations with PowerPoint or Canva, critique articles or respond to sections of a textbook, give speeches, learn how to tell Bible stories, and more!
Even though we are not an accredited institution, we encourage a standard of academic excellence at FGBI. Many of our faculty and staff hold a Bachelor's Degree or higher, or have several years of ministry experience. FGBI Students are required to produce quality, college-level work. All assignments are crafted with the intent to prepare the student for real-life ministry situations.
