ANOTHER DRUNKEN NIGHT WITHOUT CHRIST

The True Testimony of Moe Gilkeson
    Can anything stop a man in a drunken heap?

    This is a true testimony in the life of Moe Gilkeson before and after he cried out to Jesus for forgiveness.

    I was in a constant state of drunkeness for four and a half years. I mean to say that I passed out so drunk, that when I woke up I was still drunk! I shudder now at the thought of living like that. God wasn't able to help me until I came to Him in humble sorrow.

    There were so many bad things that went wrong with me, that I could write a book. At least six times I almost got myself killed (although, I'd bet God's figure is probably higher). Here is an example of another drunken night without Christ:

I FOUND A BAR

    It's May 1970. I'm 18 years old, and I've found a bar I could drink in. This was a very wicked place. All they wanted was your money. They couldn't care less if you got drunk and killed. Anyway, one night I brought in a "devil" worse than myself, and I told him "Don't start trouble or we'll get killed." Later, one of the men came up to the bar and bumped my friend, and my frind said to me, "If he does it again, I'm going to kill him."

I COULD FEEL MY LIFE LEAVING ME

    Well, the man did it again. My friend took his bottle and broke it on the bar to stab him with. We were instantly jumped and beaten. One man had me on the floor choking me to death. I could feel my life leaving me, and it was getting very black, when someone yelled, "Get off! You're killing him!". Then they threw us out cursing and laughing at us as we left.

A SCAR IN MY NECK

    In my anger and humiliation I walked across the street and punched a very large window. The glass shattered all over me. One piece punctured my neck narrowly missing my jugular vein. TWICE IN A MATTER OF 3 MINUTES I COULD HAVE....AND PROBABLY SHOULD HAVE, BEEN KILLED. The next day I was a mess. You should have seen me. I thought it was all funny then. What a fool I was. I look back over my life and shake my head. I still have a scar in my neck today. It reminds me of what I learned first hand...that God loves sinners. The truth is, I didn't care for God in those days, but yet He saved me from destruction.

DESTRUCTION CAN COME IN A MOMENT...WOULD YOU BE READY?

YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A WILD MAN LIKE ME TO BE LOST

    Friend, whoever you are reading this testimony, you don't have to be a wild man like I was to be eternally lost. But you are lost if you haven't asked Jesus to forgive you of all your sins. "For ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God.." Romans 3:23

    If that is YOU, Please ask Jesus to have mercy on you and forgive you. Tell Him you are sorry for your sins and ask HIm to come into your heart and save you. Follow Jesus, because He is our only way to Heaven.

    Jesus said: I am the way, the truth and the life. No man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Holy Bible, John 14:6

    I almost lost my life and soul, because of my own self will. Please Friend, don't allow the devil to rob and kill you. Come to Jesus now, and turn your life over to Him.

    This is what He says to you, Friend, right now: "Come unto me....and I will give you rest". It is a wild restless night without Jesus. Isn't it time you slowed down, and found the ONE who can give you peace?

ALCOHOL, CIGARETTES, DRUGS, PORNOGRAPHY

    Jesus will give you a brand new life, just like He has given me. I am a new man now, because of Jesus and the Wonderful Salvation that He gave to me. I once was bound by alcohol, cigarettes, drugs, pornography and so much more, but now I am free. You can be free too. You can be happy again. You can have peace, and if you ask Jesus to save you, you can know that you are ready for heaven.

    But without Jesus you will be lost, and have NO way to get YOUR NAME written in the Book of Life. The Bible tells about the great Judgement day ahead: "And whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life, was cast into the lake of fire." Revelation 20:15

GUESS WHO IS KNOCKING ON YOUR DOOR?

    Don't you know that Jesus is standing at your heart's door right now knocking? "Behold I stand at the door and knock; if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in.." Revelation 3:20 What will you do with Jesus? Please don't turn Him away!
