But the story doesn’t end there. For six years this Freshman had prayed faithfully for his family to get saved, and that Sunday night his mother also came to the altar and was saved. What a glorious time of weeping, praying and rejoicing! God truly worked miracles during this ministry! Many others also experienced a move of the Holy Spirit as God ministered personally to their needs. Praise God!

· James M. Thompson (‘80), CA. “It was a joy to browse
your web sight for the first time. I was
impressed to say the least! My prayers are with FGBI, and hope
to visit in the near future. I have been
working in Mexico with an orphanage for the past 12 years.

DEAR PARTNERS IN CHRISTIAN EDUCATION,
In a day of great compromise when many are drifting away
from the “narrow way” that Jesus spoke of, Free Gospel Bible Institute
continues to stand for truth and righteousness. May we always remember
that real faith TAKES SIDES with the revealed will of God!
It is my privilege to greet you as we approach the close of another school year. Another class of students is ready to graduate after three years of intense preparation and the harvest is ready for them. May God send them forth with power and anointing. Please accept my personal invitation to be our special guest at the 38th Annual Graduation Convention, May 14-16, 1998.
Automatically, we begin to think about the next incoming class that will register on August 29, 1998. You who are friends of FGBI are our best advertisement. You could be a great asset to the Lord’s work if you would just take a little time to speak to some potential student about coming to FGBI. We will be glad to send them, or you, a catalog.
Excitement continues to rise as we see more progress on the new library construction . What a needed resource this library is! Finances, labor and time have necessitated slow but steady progress. Believe me, we all are anxious to see this building ready to use, and you can help us reach that goal. Every gift brings us a little closer to fulfillment.
We have no desire to build up debts, but rather to see a debt-free library building. It can happen. We have seen God work this way. But He uses His people. Large gifts of one thousand dollars are greatly needed. But small gifts are needed too, and appreciated. Perhaps you can do something special now to help with this need. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely,
Rev. David J. Beam, President
