Sample of Sponsorship Letter that must be sent to FGBI 
by International Applicants

We must receive information from your sponsor to verify his/her financial ability to sponsor you as a student. A notarized certification of employment, including his/her monthly income must be submitted. Also include any notarized bank statements, or other information proving sufficient funds are available. These are all required by Immigration Laws.

The form below must be completed by your sponsor, and officially notarized. 
The original, completed and notarized form must be sent to our office.

Two other documents must also be notarized and sent to us as originals:

1. A Bank Statement verifying that the sponsor has approximately $8,000.00 in the bank.

2.  An official statement from the sponsor's employer, verifying that they have a minimum income of $25,000.00 per year

These two, plus the Statement of Sponsorship must each be notarized and sent to our office in original form, not copies of the original.

If they are not notarized, your application process will be stopped until correct forms are sent to us.

I verify that I have sufficient funds to be responsible for all of his/her living expenses 
for the three years he/she is enrolled at the Bible Institute.

This affidavit verifies that ______________________________________________(potential student’s name) will not find it necessary to appeal to either the Institute nor the United States government for any type of financial aid, Scholarship, other material aid, or become a public charge during his stay in the United States.

Please be aware of the qualifications to be a sponsor:

1. A sponsor must have a minimum income of $25,000.00 per year

2. A sponsor must have approximately $8,000.00 in a bank account.
