Free Gospel Missions Newsletter Jan. 15,
2006:
We
have great news from the African country of
Guinea!
Brother Paul
Danso, who founded our mission in Ghana, felt God was leading him to
Guinea to start a Free Gospel Mission there. Desiring verification of what
was being done, we requested that Isaac
John, Field Supervisor in
Sierra Leone travel
there and report to us. Brother Isaac reports that in just a few months a
thriving congregation has been established, and that many healings and
miracles have taken place. Thus far this work has been totally funded by
the local people, but we hope to be able to provide future funding for
expansion of this work.
This is a new development in missions where those in poverty dare to trust
God to help them advance the work without always looking to the USA for
financial support.
Sierra Leone is opening a mission in neighboring Liberia, as well as
sending out the bicycle evangelists who receive no support from the
mission. It is wonderful to see missions maturing to where they can
direct their own affairs, depend less on outside, support, and complete
the circle by sending out missionaries to nearby areas.
Free Gospel Missions
Newsletter March, 2006:
The new pioneer work in Guinea is
showing rapid growth under the leadership of Paul Danso Kolif. Healings
and miracles have been reported, including a blind woman who now can see!
To date meetings are held in a temporary tent like structure, and a
building is sorely needed. Valuable land has been donated but funds are
needed to build. The local population, like much of that region of Africa
are in poverty. It would take about $25,000 to put up a suitable
multipurpose building. It would likely provide living space, as well as
for a school and worship areas. This is a new mission field for us, a very
needy one, and anything you can do to help will be appreciated.
Free Gospel Missions Newsletter May
2006:
Our new mission in Guinea
enjoys an ongoing spirit of revival, with healings and miracles. There is
a critical need for funds to build a multi-purpose building for services,
training school etc. Any funds toward this project would be greatly
appreciated. Serious poverty prevents local funding of this project.
