GREETINGS TO ALL OUR FRIENDS EVERYWHERE:

How good it is to come with a good report of God's work overseas in our first newsletter for 2007. We trust that each individual and church is of to a great start in this year of wonderful possibilities. There are many reasons to rejoice, the new church at Laoag City nearing completion, thrilling progress in Sierra Leone, a building under construction in Nigeria, and a growing work in Guinea. This is only a partial list of what is being accomplished because of your prayer and financial support. Each of you are a vital part of this mission. I wish it were possible for each of you to see for yourself what is being accomplished. Those who have visited one or more of the areas where we labor, come away amazed at what the Lord is doing.
As some of you are already aware, the Petits are scheduled to return to the USA in late March. Already their schedule of churches included in their itineration is filling up. Their plan is to visit as many churches as possible in their year long itineration. Currently they are extra busy making detailed preparations for the continuation of the work while they are gone. Projects such as DVBS, Faith Bible Institute, etc. will move forward under the direction of national leadership that has been carefully selected and fully trained.

Also in the Philippines, the construction work on two new churches is moving rapidly toward completion. The current semester at FBI has been marked by rapidly developing ministerial abilities among many of the students. They have learned how to minister effectively and lead chapel services where the Holy Spirit moved in remarkable ways.

In Sierra Leone, because of the expansion of the work in new areas, it became advisable to hold four regional retreats rather than one. Also the first country wide women's conference will be held at Easter, and the first country wide youth gathering is planned for July. The bicycle ministry continues to result in the establishment of new congregations. Several day schools provide vital education for children because of the lack of an effective public school system. Some of the formerly Calvary Mission churches, (founded by the Covers), are working with our mission and doing an effective work in their areas.
As noted above, funds are needed for roof pans for three expanding churches, and completion of Faith Bible University buildings can only be accomplished when additional funds are received. Thus in one of the very poorest nations the gospel is being effectively ministered and the results are exciting. Your investment in prayer and finances is making a huge difference in many lives and brings hope to men who struggle merely to exist.

In Nigeria, our national leader is a well educated government employee who has a burden to win Muslims to Christ. He has shown his ability and effectiveness both by winning many, and by training others for the same type of ministry. We greatly appreciate a generous donation that made it possible to begin construction of a multi-purpose building. However, unforeseen government permits, fees, etc. reduced considerably the funds available for construction. It is an inexpensive building similar to native methods. About $4,000 is needed to make it usable. Any help would directly impact the ability to bring the gospel to those who have been deceived

Other areas of ministry include, Ghana, Liberia, Myanmar, Southern Philippines, India, and South Korea. Request are received from many areas to become part of our missions endeavors. All are careful screened relative to doctrinal standards, prior to any link to this ministry. Several receive little or no financial help because of our limited resources, but desire our fellowship and prayer support.

Space does not permit me to tell you about all the places and the many types of ministry that are geared to continually getting out the gospel and changing lives. The past year saw amazing progress in so many places, and there is reason to believe 2007 may well bring even greater progress.

You are vital to this work, We are workers together in HIS vineyard. I am privileged to simply pass on to those on the front lines the financial support you furnish, and where possible, offer guidance and advice as to how the work can best move forward. One hundred percent of all designated funds directly overseas for the designated purpose. The missions office operates out of my home at the lowest possible cost, on an all volunteer basis. All questions pertaining to this ministry are welcomed and complete answers given. We highly value the trust you place in our efforts.

Thank you for your letters, prayers, and financial support, I realize for many it is a sacrifice to give. May the Lord richly bless you, and may heavens rewards be yours for investing in taking the gospel "into all the world."

Sincerely Yours,
Chester. H. Heath
