FGBI ON THE MOVE

BUILDING UPON "DEBT FREE YEARS"
Miraculous provision just kept rolling in! The year began with a whirlwind shopping spree at Sam’s Club. When the cash register stopped printing, the receipt had totaled over $10,000.00! The manager had never seen an order that large before, and neither had we! What a blessing it was to boast of the goodness of God as we were informed it was all a donation!
Check from class of 2006.
The second semester revealed even more of the goodness of the Lord toward our school. After receiving an offering from students that totaled over $1,700.00 to sponsor a youth camp in the Philippine Islands, we saw the windows of heaven open once again. Trucks of foodstuff began arriving faster than we could use them. We received milk, canned vegetables, chips, pop, chicken, spices, and items too numerous to mention! This great blessing helped to offset the rising costs of fuel and utilities.
As we closed out the year, we were looking at a deficit of nearly $10,000.00. As large as that may seem, it reveals that nearly 95% of the cost of operating the school had
already been met! Offerings given at graduation further reduced that deficit to our present need of less than $5,000.00. It would only take a few generous souls to help make this another “debt-free year”. Perhaps God is speaking to you to become a part of this great ministry. Take a few minutes and re-read some of the articles. Look again at what our graduates have said. You can be a part of sponsoring ministries like those you have been reading about. We appreciate your support!
As exciting as it may be to finish “debt-free,” this only brings us back to ground zero every year. This leaves no money for upgrades and remodeling. We must raise these funds separately from the normal budget and begin to refurbish our aging kitchen and dormitory facilities.

"We will match dollar for dollar every donation that you raise for the kitchen remodeling project, up to $35,000!"

We have been telling you about an exciting offer made to us by the Fasset Street Church of Toledo, Ohio. “We will match dollar for dollar every donation that you raise for the kitchen remodeling project up to $35,000.00!” In case you missed it, that’s $35,000.00 in guaranteed funds to replace worn out appliances while modernizing our kitchen! We have already received $23,000.00 in donations and are feeling the urgency of the hour.

Please pray with us about giving to this project. Every dollar you donate will effectively double! Look over the list of needed appliances and updates. Pray about taking on one of these items as your personal gift or as a project from your church!

The graduating class of 2006 presented us with a check for $3,000.00 designated for this endeavor. How exciting it was to see that total continue to rise!

“This has been the most beneficial time of my life spiritually. It was at FGBI that God taught me how to pray and how to preach. The Student Ministry Program helped me so much, because it gave me the practical experience that every preacher needs
In my 3 years here I have been to 18 different states and 3 different countries, and I’ve been able to minister throughout them.

I am grateful for my time here and am looking forward to the ministry that the Lord has for me. God has opened the door for me to be youth pastor at Bethel Pentecostal Church in Petersburg, WV.”

STUDENT MINISTRY

It has been a blessing and privilege for our students to minister in 14 different states and one foreign country since second semester began in January.
Our school vans took ministry teams thousands of miles into Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, West Virginia, and over the border into the country of Mexico.
We rejoice along with heaven over the number of souls saved, healed, baptized in the Holy Ghost, called to the ministry, and challenged to new dedications to the Lord.
THANK YOU to the many pastors and churches that have opened their doors and invited FGBI to minister.

“So many areas of my life have been affected and changed. Ministry opportunities, including going to the Philippines, gave me much “hands-on” training. May I ever apply myself to the study of God’s word and the winning of the world.”

"FGBI has been a training ground for me, preparing me for the work that God has for me in the future."
