| S.E.N.T. TO INDIA -- ANOTHER STEP OF FAITH! | ||||||||
|
|
we are now preparing for
a team of our students to travel with Dr. Charles Pahlman and
S.O.N. Ministries to go on a short term missions trip to India. The preliminary plan is to assist Rev. Jim Collins with his work in Hyderabad and possibly work with the family of Vijay Malhar in Bombay, India. Vijay is presently a senior here at FGBI. We appreciate the financial support of the Fasset Street Church, |
in Toledo, Ohio,
Pastor Harold Bruce, as well as the Free Gospel Church of McKee's
Rocks, PA, Pastor Clayton Massey. Their generosity opens the door
for a student to fulfill the Great Commission. Many others have the desire
to go also. By faith, they will raise the necessary financial support not
only to travel to India, but to do a great work for God while there. Last year, the S.E.N.T. Team invested over $12,000.00 in the work of the Lord through Free Gospel Mission of the Philippine Islands |

| MOVING OUR MUSIC MINISTRY FORWARD | ||||||||
| Doors of
opportunity are opening for the FGBI choir as we prepare to minister in
nine different states this semester. We have been praying that God would expand our ministry and take us places we have never been. By the time you receive this letter, we will have ministered at the Shelby Street Church in Indianapolis, IN, and will be making last minute preparations to travel west through Arizona to California. On this extensive choir trip, we will also be sharing the Gospel through song in states such as Oklahoma, Texas, Alabama, and Virginia (please see the schedule at the end of this article). We are especially excited about an avenue the Lord has taken us within the past few weeks. Six students and two faculty members went to a |
studio in Virginia to
compile a CD of 12 Southern Gospel songs, which we are sure will be a
great blessing!
The songs, varying in style from the quartet sound of “Oh, My Lord, What A Time” and “You Loved Me”, a majestic song of grace sung by the Holcombe Trio, to the old hymn, |
“I Won’t Have to Cross Jordan
Alone”, are anointed and appealing to groups of all ages. |
