THREE STEPS CLOSER TO A MIRACLE
God is already at work preparing the way for necessary improvements! We have seen the hand of God moving us quickly toward expansion.
We are exploring some interesting options for the addition of another building. It is exciting to see the hand of God working to prepare the way for our next miracle!
Free Gospel Bible Institute was called into existence by the providence of God in 1957.

Men such as Rev. Chester Heath and women like Virginia McGechie were at that campmeeting almost 50 years ago when God directed to “Arise and build, and that with haste.” Many of those instrumental in fulfilling the purpose of God here at Export were in their late teens and early twenties. The same age as most of our students!

We were thrilled to see our students acting with faith and determination! We are living out the Sunday School series, “Building With A Burden”, taught throughout most of last school year.
A third “miracle” was the spirit in which our local building inspector received my inquiry regarding such a project. Anyone that has ever built anything knows that the building

The first interesting event is the possibility of acquiring a 16,000 square foot, two-story steel building that offers a variety of options for growth. It is large enough to hold a new cafeteria, three classrooms, offices and even a new sanctuary if we desire. Another alternative would be to use it for increased dorm space.

inspector can be your best friend or your worst nightmare. After a lengthy conversation about the Book of Revelation, I enquired of the possibility of erecting such a building. I took the time to explain that we are a faith school and that when such a building was completed, we would look back at it and state, “This was a miracle!” A huge smile crossed his face as he spoke from his heart,
This two year old building may become available to us including all wiring and insulation for only $20,000.00! We would need at least 10 men to help dismantle it and move it this fall. This could take up to 10 days to take the building down and another 10 days to erect it. Now, more than ever, we need the Lord to “send forth laborers!”

The second interesting event is how God is stirring the heart of our student body. Many of our services have been transformed into hours of seeking the face of God. It is here that God has begun to challenge a new generation to rise up in faith and build the work of the Lord.

We have felt the Holy Ghost challenging our student body to accept the torch of faith and responsibility from that generation and help carry the ministry of FGBI to a new level of Divine purpose. Our students are committing themselves to work, pray and finance the foundation of this new project.
Again, this past Sunday evening, we felt the assurance that the Holy Ghost would be with us as He was with past generations. It was then that we took this second step of faith and asked the students to make “Faith Promises” as God directed them. It would become our goal to have the present student body raise the necessary finances to pay for this building if it should become available. (If this building does not work out the money will be used for future expansion and renovation.)
After a time of prayer, our student body has pledged by faith to raise over $30,000.00!
“I want to see this happen, I want to help make it happen.”
We are under no illusion that this will be easy or inexpensive. The first phase of this expansion will require many hours of skilled labor and will cost over $200,000.00. A preliminary estimate of building costs and necessary upgrades are outlined with our needs on page 5.
Again, at this point, I am writing this by faith, knowing that if our enrollment is to increase again next year, we must begin preparing immediately!
Your prayers, participation and financial support are greatly coveted at this time. I want to be a part of the next 50 years of miraculous ministry at FGBI should the Lord tarry. Don’t you?
YOU MAY HOLD THE KEY TO THE FOURTH STEP!
Nehemiah 2:7&8 relate the remarkable boldness of a Visionary. When the opportunity came to arise and build, Nehemiah found himself before King Artaxerxes, the one man who had the power to “make things happen” in the plan of God! He quickly rattled off a list of what he would need to accomplish this great task. ...AND THE KING GRANTED ME, ACCORDING TO THE GOOD HAND OF MY GOD UPON ME! With this in mind, we present our needs by faith to you. May God grant to us the same favor he granted to Nehemiah.

Has God placed you in a position to
“MAKE THINGS HAPPEN?”

If so, please fill out and return the section on page 5 entitled
“I CAN MAKE THIS HAPPEN!”
