THE POWER OF PENTECOSTAL MINISTRY

   Solomon wrote, “Cast thy bread upon the waters and thou shalt find it after many days.” I believe there comes a time in the work of the Lord that we must cast our vision before God’s people and see how the Lord moves. That time is now!

   As I write, I am sitting in the FGBI café surrounded by young people that have tasted of the goodness of God. In a church world that ranges from hype to dead formalism it is my privilege to declare that the Holy Ghost is still the difference maker in the church.

   From its inception, Pentecostal worship has always been different. The people of Jerusalem surrounded the upper room and asked “What meaneth this?” The simple answer is, “This means that the power of

   the Holy Ghost has come with all of the Glory of God surrounding it.”

   Presently, I am surrounded by over 100 young men and women who are experiencing Pentecost, Acts chapter 2 style. These young people are not only receiving a Bible education but are being empowered to minister in a world of darkness and utter spiritual chaos. It is time that we take the steps of faith necessary to throw open doors of opportunity for Holy Ghost empowered ministries.

   God has brought to us students from as far away as Cameroon and Haiti to join in this glorious outpouring of the Holy Ghost. We have an obligation to take what the Holy Ghost has given and carry the fullness of a Spirit-empowered Gospel to a lost and dying CHURCH WORLD!

   The church must be revived and the key to revival is a Holy Ghost outpouring upon our youth. We are witnessing that at this present moment!

   We have heard anointed preaching, seen our students lost in the presence of the Holy Ghost, witnessed a young lady being healed by the power of God and a great volume of worship continues even as we write this article.

   Take a moment and re-read the accounts of those who were present. Is not such a work worthy of your prayerful and financial support?
