Financial Aid

1. The faith policy of Free Gospel Bible Institute enables more young people to enter the Pentecostal ministry. Although there is no charge for room, board, or tuition, it is our desire to discourage slothfulness and irresponsibility stressing rather  that each one must trust God and pray with us for the meeting of institute needs, as well as for their personal needs. All are expected to give regularly according to their financial ability.

2. General Expenses:

** These fees reflect the cash fees.  Students not paying at the time of registration will be required to complete a delayed payment agreement and will be assessed a $60.00 carrying fee.**

Textbooks must be paid for before issuance. Costs may vary according to courses or price increases.

*Junior and Senior Re-enrollment fee: A registration fee of $25.00 will be charged when the student returns the acceptance form issued by the school, approving the acceptance of the student for the Junior or Senior year.

*THERE WILL BE NO REFUND ON ANY OF THE ABOVE FEES.

*Class Dues: are determined by each class and used for class activities, yearbook production, and class gift to the Institute.

*Any malicious damage will result in a breakage fee to the student.

3. Time Payments and Loans, etc.: Students are not to purchase anything on time payments or make loans while attending this Institute. All financial obligations should be taken care of before enrollment. Our diploma will not be issued until all school debts are paid and all work has been satisfactorily completed.

4. Student Employment: We request that resident students do not obtain regular employment during the time spent at the Free Gospel Bible Institute (September through May) so they may benefit from the full Bible Institute program, atmosphere, prayer times, and ministry opportunities.

5. Part time: Off Campus may students may take courses with full credit being given. These courses will be $30.00 per course and no more than four (4) subjects may be taken.

6. Veteran's Administration Refund Policy: In the event a Veteran's Administration eligible person fails to enter the course, withdraws, or is discontinued, the refund will be prorated. The Institute will retain $10.00 of the Entrance Fee.

7. International Students:  

Fees and Procedures

Free Gospel Bible Institute is authorized under federal law to enroll international students. The total initial fee amounts to $1,270.00. This fee will cover the $70.00 application fee, entrance fee, library fee, insurance fee, Torchbearer fee for one and one half years (three semesters). Class dues and re-enrollment fees, of approximately $100.00 per year, are additional.

 The applicant is also responsible to purchase all required textbooks upon arrival, amounting to approximately $250.00 per year. Costs may vary according to courses and publisher price increases.  There is no charge for room, board or tuition. Fees and policies concerning international students are subject to change without notice.

 The $1,270.00 initial fee must be submitted IN ADVANCE before the I-20 form will be issued. This is a guarantee of definite reservations. Should unforeseen circumstances prevent enrollment, a limited refund will be issued. The allowable refund issued to non-enrolling applicants is limited to $725.00, when requested in writing within five years from the application date. After five years from application date, no refund will be issued. No refund is issued if the I-20 is used to gain entry into the United States

 All fees must be sent to us in U.S. dollars.  It can be sent as cash, check, or money order. The check or money order must be payable from a bank with a branch in the United States.  The bank branch information and routing numbers (required) must be preprinted on the check or money order. An additional option would be to send the fees through Western Union.  They should be sent to the Western Union Office in Murrysville, Pennsylvania, at the Giant Eagle store in Murrysville, Pennsylvania.  
After an international student’s application and application fee have been received by our office, further instructions will be sent to guide the student toward completion of required forms.

Deadlines For International Students:

JANUARY SPRING TERM
International applicants must have all vital information in to FGBI by NOVEMBER 15TH of the year before the January term. This includes all required fees, references and sponsorship information.   

AUGUST FALL TERM  
Those desiring to come for the FALL TERM must have these requirements met by JULY 15TH of the year they plan to register.

8. Financial Aid or Sponsorships
 Free Gospel Bible Institute does not offer scholarships or financial aid. As a faith school we have no charge for room, board or tuition. This is our contribution to the student. Beyond this, students must pray and find a way to pay other required fees. Pray that the Lord directs you in locating a sponsor who can help you. International students are responsible to find their own sponsor.
