Alumni Project This years Alumni Project is going to be a service honoring Rev. Chester Heath for 45 years of service to the school and Free Gospel Church. We will be having a special service for him on Thursday night and would love to have you attend. We are asking you to send in Project monies to the school. This money will go to help purchase a gift for Bro. Heath and his lovely wife of 50+ years. We will be having a Power Point Presentation and a special service for him to let him know that we appreciate everything he has done for the school. If you are receiving this letter you have been touched by his life. You have sat under his teaching, lived in a dorm he helped to build and a campus that he has helped to maintain. No one can can forget Monday morning chapel, the sermons, the advice and, of course, the jokes. Lets give honor to whom honor is due. We would love to see you there and I know he would appreciate seeing you again. Make plans to be there and share in this joyous occasion. And make sure you send in your contribution to this project. working as an apprentice airplane mechanic as he
continues to train to become a missionary pilot. Our next son, Andrew, is planning to marry after a 3 year engagement. He and his bride are being considered as candidates to return to serve with the Independent Holiness Mission here in Haiti Our daughter, Amelia, is completing High School and works as a phys-ed teacher. She is also a soloist with the International Community Choir of Haiti. We now have 14 churches and 5 day schools and continue to teach MKs at Calvary Holiness Academy which is an A.C.E. School which we founded in 1987. Rebecca Karns ("78) Is ministering with her children in Haiti. She writes that they are very busy in the work there. She also writes of a recent lightning storm. The most memorable lighting strike set the kids clothes on fire. The clothes were on the roof to dry. The storm came up so quickly that the first sign of it was a huge thunderclap, lightning, and bright orange sky. The strike hit our house and a tree next door. Both the tree and clothes burst into flames. The rain put out the fires and the tree lived, but the clothes didn't HA! Ha! Life is exciting in the ministry.
Trey and Laura Dickerson ('03) This summer Kyle and Michelle along with their children returned to Taiwan to minister there with six other Free Gospel Alumni: Jennifer Dissmore, Eric Hall, Jennifer Simpson, Gloria Wilson, Sandra Tseng, and Megan Wang. The Lord is blessing them there and has moved in great ways to provide them with the necessary paperwork for their visas. They are currently studying the language and helping at the church.
Let us know what you are doing and we
would be glad to let others know also. |
